I am not sure how to really write a good and interesting review about an extension cable. I figured I would start by saying its not too bulky, it only has three sockets which us a good size for down beside the bedside for other half. He can plug his lamp and clock into it and there are 4 USB slots for all his gadgets. I like the way there’s a switch on the extension block itself, it means you don’t have to reach to the wall socket to turn it off or on. The 5metre cable is a plus point too as usually I find the cables are too short to reach.

I chose this extension because I needed one with a long cable, 5 metres, rather than much shorter ones offered by other sellers. It appears to be quite well made, is very compact, and seems to work OK. All the outlets are controlled by a single on/off switch including the 4 USB outlets. I would have preferred individually switched sockets but this would have added to the size. The four USB outlets have a total power output limited to 2.1A which may restrict their usefullness. Also, I quite like illuminated USB sockets which this extension does not have, but that’s a fairly small omission. If the claimed surge suppression works that is also a bonus. Overall I’m satisfied.

I bought this extension for the living room as I wanted to have a central place where all phones/tablets could be charged rather than having to cart around differnt wall chargers. In that sense it has been useful so far as it has lots of usb charging ports. My only issue is that the ports share power, so one plugged in by itself will charge quite fast but if all the ports are being used then the charge is relatively quite slow.
I purchased the 5 meter cable option and this may have been a tad too long as it the wire does trail somewhat, maybe the 2 meter option may be a better option in the lounge.
I don’t believe it will great for traveling as it is quite bulky so a powerbank would be better there, however saying that I haven’t tried taking it on my travels yet.
The colour is white, I’m hoping it stays white rather than going off-yellow like the old school extensions used to do.

Exactly what I needed to get all my electronics to charge in one place overnight. The separate usb-c is a winner for my iPhone, it charges super fast.
If you’re thinking of powering a laptop from it, it’s better to use the mains plugs. For the MacBook Air it is not fast enough.
Very good buy overall and reasonable price. Well worth it.

Not a cheap unit. Thickest wrapped cable I’ve ever seen on an extension lead. Works as it should.
