This quality Extention is a bit pricy but very handy and compact. Recommended.

I bought this to take on a cruise, not knowing what power points etc would be available. It’s just as well I did, as my cabin had just one power point and no USB charging points. This came in very handy and I use it now at home particularly for USB charging. The cube is very light and the cable quite thick, so the cube easily topples over or gets dragged to the floor. I now stick it down with Blu-tack.

My laptop is a power hungry monster. When I take it out and about, I need to be able to plug in so that it runs for more than an hour or so, especially when I setup the full portable office, with three screens.
This is where the extension comes in. Firstly, the cable is long enough to reach to most publicly available outlets without creating a H&S Hazard. The overload and anti-surge give me the piece of mind that I’m as unlikley to fry my laptop when out as when I’m at home. Having several sockets, means that when out and about, I don’t need to be a power hog, and can even let others plug in. (with permission of the power socket owner of course) Finally having the USB charging ports is an extra bonus, I’ve use this to recharge devices with flat batteries instead of plugging them into my laptop. This is handy as the USB ports are at a premium on my laptop.
